With higher requirement on building energy consumption,more and more countries has set carbon neutral timeline to limit the emission of carbon and decrease the consumption of energy.
Building,especially already existing buildings adopted large area windows,doors,and insulated glass facade ,the glass U value are always above 1.6W/M2.K,in this IGU times,it has been the leading level,but with the approaching of vaccum glass times, 75% lower U value is possible and existing buildings need replacement to further decrease the energy consumption.

Vacuum glass is still unknown to architects and designers,in the past decades vacuum glass applied in some glass facades ,but for technical reason,the U value and stability didn’t leave good impression in the glass industry.
Now with developed and updated processing technology,vacuum glass performance has reached 0.47W/M2.K ,up to 15 years warranty time, larger available panels,and more even compress ,all these feature enable large scale promotion possible.
HaanGlas has concluded strategic alliance relationship with American companies to promote vacuum glass in North America since 2022 and we believe that vacuum glass will be priority for new projects in next 10 years.
