Heat treated glass, toughened glass,whether with or without heat soaking process,is the basic safety glass.

• Strength: 3-5 times higher strength than float glass.
• Safety:Will become small particle fragment after breaking.

Heat soak process eliminate the possibility of toughened glass spontaneous breakage.

But heat strengthened glass ,even though it’s widely used in high rise buildings,it’s still not safety glass.The purpose of adopting heat strengthened glass,is after glass breaking,it will keep integrity and won’t collapse.

Heat treated safety glass is used in glass balustrade,glass canopy,glass poolfence,glass stairs,glass balcony,windows &doors,facade.

PVB laminated glass ,is combined 2 or more lites glass with PVB interlayer,whether it’s heat treated or float glass.

• Acoustic. Reduce at least 30Dbs noise across the glass.
• Safety:PVB interlayer can combine 2 piles monolithic when broken,decrease the injury possibility.
• UV-Resistance:Laminated glass provides 99% UV light blockage at the wavelength range of ~300 – 380 nanometers.

PVB laminated glass application is similar as heat treated glass,the additional advantage is,if single piece broken,another piece and the interlayer will keep glass integrity and,fragments won’t fall.

SentryGlas Plus has very high strength,SGP laminated glass bearing capability is 2 times that of PVB laminated glass,but the bending deflection of SGP laminated is only 1/4 of PVB ones under the same thickness and load condition.
The tearing strength of SGP interlayer is 5 times higher than PVB film,even if the glass breaks,the SGP can also stick the glass and form a temporary structure while keeping small bending deformation,it can withstand a certain amount of load and whole piece laminated glass won’t fall or deform.

Bulletproof glass,is some high end glass that can resist the impact of bullet，it’s made with multi layer clear float glass and PVB interlayers,as well as some special bulletproof films,and PC panels.

The impact of high speed bulet hits on the glass and cracks the glass,with the deformation produced warheads,the kinetic energybe reduced or absored until prevented,while the glass fragments are stuck by organic interlayer and avoid injury.

Anti Intrusion glass,different from bulletproof,the main function is to protect the house or valuables.It take long time to damage the glass ,and hard to be penetrated after several times sharp instrument impact.

The combination of anti intrusion glass is also multi layer SGP laminated glass with annealled glass.Sometimes PC board and special films are added to enhance the overall security,the security requirement is nt as high as bulletproof glass,but has more application,such as museum,diamond showcase,windows&doors.
