Many readers got much useful from our site but found that the update in 2022 is quite slow and almost stopped.Let me explain:

The posts on this website was edited by myself and each posts takes 1-2 hours to wrote,edit,and upload.I did took me much energy .

I worked in glass industry for almost 10 years, and saw the fierce competition in China glass export industry.

Traditional architectural glass ,the supply and requirement is very steady and hard to discover new opportunity in China, low profit,and fierce competition,it’s not just a export,but a financial game…

  • You don’t know how specialized the China glass processing industry is, there’s some guys specialized in producing laminated sheets, 6.38mm and export up to 600 containers annually, while container profit is just USD300.
  • 10mm tempered glass,one of my friend export 200 containers shower door glass to USA annually ,and payment after arrival,he need to have at least USD1 million cash flow to keep the business.
  • Big trading companies ,what their profit don’t exist on glass itself,but they can get special discount on shipping fees as the quantity is huge.
  • Some greenhouse glass and solar glass exporters,paid million dollars to prepare stock when raw materials is low and sell whenever price goes up…

I cannot survive in these competition and was forced to find new selling points.

In end of 2021,HaanGlas was established and focus on vacuum insulating glass.

Different from normal insulating glass,vacuum glazing contains 0.15 or 0.3mm high vacuum space between 2 glass panels and realized much benefits:

  • Thin,light,can replace historical windows directly without changing original windows.
  • It realized 0.5W/M2.K incredible low thermal conductivity.
  • It can withstand 90℃ temperature difference and no condensation.
  • It has 20% better soundproof performance.

There’re only few factories that can produce vacuum insulating glass,AGC,Pilkington,Landvac,Panasonic and HaanGlas will be the best one.

In 2022,much work was finished this year:

  • We built new website and wrote 46 posts on the new website.
  • We applied and got SGCC /IGCC certificate and many test reports.
  • We found several partners worldwide and exported over 7000pcs vacuum insulating glass.
  • We built homepage on many social media,Youtube,Linkedin,tiktok,reddit ect.

In one word,we are prepared for selling VIG in 2022.

And in 2023, VIG times is coming.

Meanwhile Mornglass keep focusing on traditional architectural glass .
